Starting as doodles on a student’s notebook, Sumikko Gurashi comes from San-X, the same Japanese company that brought us Rilakkuma and Sentimental Circus. There are over 50 Sumikko Gurashi characters, but the five main ones are Shirokuma, Penguin?, Tonkatsu, Neko, and Tokage.
