She's a gajinka - a personification of cuteness created by Sanrio, the kawaii company behind other big-name cuties like Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, and Pompompurin. Hello Kitty was designed after a white Japanese Bobtail, a cat breed with a small puffy tail just like a rabbit.
Born in the suburbs of London, England, Hello Kitty also goes by the name Kitty White. She lives in a lovely home with her father, mother, and twin sister, Mimmy. Kitty is an active little cat-girl known for being energetic, bright, and friendly. Hello Kitty loves exploring the world with her friends and family!
